When I’m working on a problem, I never think about beauty. But when I’ve finished, if the solution is not beautiful I know it’s wrong.
Nestled in a newly developed land without any developed landscaping in the area, this home project gave us the opportunity to build the outdoor aesthetic this family dreamed of on all sides of the home – complete with creating the ground levels of their property, developing different outdoor areas for them, and influencing the overall look of the neighborhood.

Developement
A custom gas grill island with bluestone countertops was built as the focal point of one paver patio area. Connecting to the next paver patio area, a specialty see-through gas fire pit built with Indiana limestone is the breathtaking centerpiece of the upper area.
All plants have a drip irrigation system and the new sod lawn is supported by Tracer’s signature irrigation systems. Tracer employs high-level lighting techniques for creating and installing outdoor lighting and accent lighting throughout this masterpiece.
Extensive landscaping and masonry was used to make this property a true stunner and the kind of home ready to give our customer life-long memories.

Conceptual Design
Starting with the upper level, we began by leveling and defining the property line with installing sod around the majority of the home and determining an upper and lower outside space for the family.
Below, we installed a paver patio walkout to create a private oasis for the family’s hot tub. Accent lighting and outdoor lighting enhance this area as does the lush sod lawn it looks out on.
Around the foundation of the home, we installed river rock with custom cut natural stone edgers to support positive drainage and sustainability of the new home. Similarly we supported wildflower restoration on this property and planted on the perimeter as well as in custom planters.
Utilizing glacial boulders we built a engineered boulder wall to create a solid upper outdoor level.
